a lotus stamp

Last month I bought a handmade rubber stamp from Baisimu which is owned by a lady named Jean Toh here in Singapore.  I wanted something to remember my time in Asia by and thought this pretty Lotus flower was just the thing.

It took a few goes to get the ink (on my terribly old & leaky ink pad) to behave.

But after a brief stamping session, I got it just right.

All I need now is a pretty palette of ink pads!

To see Jean’s other items, including calligraphy stamps, Chinese seals and hand printed goods for weddings or anything custom made, please visit her Etsy shop here – you will not be disappointed with the lovingly photographed goods!
